About Alejandro
He completed his technical training at the Andy Goldstein Creative Photography School.
He attended the SubCooperativa de Fotógrafos authorial training laboratory with Gisela Vola and Nicolás Pousthomis, and participated in workshops by Valeria Bellusci, Paula Teller and Tony Valdez.
He currently works as a freelance photographer for artists and dance companies in Argentina and several countries around the world.
He won two consecutive years of the first prize of the Latin American Documentary Photography Contest in Colombia (2023 and 2024), was a finalist with honorable mention at the Alicia Alonso International Dance Photography Contest in Cuba (2021), was twice a finalist for the AAMEC award for contemporary photography at the Caraffa Museum in Argentina (2023 and 2024), obtained third prize of the New Talent Award from Profifoto magazine in Germany (2024), first and second place in the Inico contest at the University of Salamanca in Spain (2023 and 2024), and also in the International Photography Contest of the Esperanza Pertuza Foundation in Madrid (2024), Spain.
He held an individual exhibition at the Casa de la Cultura de Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), participated in collective exhibitions such as AAMEC in Córdoba (Argentina), FIF in Santa Marta (Colombia), Bodies in Conflict and Revealed Resistances at the Tucumán Documentary Photography Biennial (Argentina), Transcending the Surface at the Casa de la Cultura in Bahía Blanca (Argentina), and the El Ojo Salvaje festival in Paraguay.
