The Desire

“Every body is political and poetic. Every body is a story.” This project explores the desire of bodies that exist on the margins, at the edges. Bodies discarded by normative standards for being “non-productive,” bodies to which pleasure is often denied. Caryna is a sexual assistant for people with disabilities who lives and works in Argentina. She creates spaces of pleasure and enjoyment so that each person who hires her can use that time to explore their own desires: walking through the streets while holding someone close, going out for coffee, exchanging massages, taking a bath, reading erotic poetry, discovering areas of their bodies that have never been explored, kissing, caressing, deciding. The outside world questions them. Within their intimacy, they discover their bodies. Their desire.
